Information That Respects Where You Are in Your Planning
Nestguard was founded to fill a gap — not for financial products, but for clear, accessible education about how retirement systems work in Thailand. We run workshops. We don't sell plans.
Back to HomeStarted from a Very Specific Frustration
Nestguard began in early 2022 when a small group of Bangkok-based educators noticed how often people in their forties and fifties arrived at retirement with unanswered basic questions — not because information didn't exist, but because no one had sat down with them and explained it in plain terms.
The official sources were there. The documents were available. The problem was translation — not from Thai to English, but from complex administrative language to something a working person could follow on a Tuesday evening after work.
So we built workshops around that gap. Sessions structured like chapters in a handbook you can work through at your own speed, with take-home materials pointing back to authoritative public sources.
Every Person Deserves to Understand the System They're Part Of
We don't manage money. We don't give advice on what to do with it. What we do is explain how the pension and retirement structures in Thailand are organised, what the common documents mean, and how to keep personal records in order so that when decisions are needed, the groundwork is done.
This matters for individuals approaching retirement, for HR professionals trying to support their teams, and for anyone who has moved to Thailand and is trying to understand a system quite different from what they grew up with.
Our sessions are calm, paced, and honest about what we cover and what falls outside our scope.
The People Who Run the Sessions
Small team, focused remit. Each facilitator brings a background in adult education, public administration, or both.

Former public administration officer with fifteen years explaining government systems to working adults. Leads the orientation seminar series and writes all participant reading packs.
Praew Limcharoen
Document Organisation Specialist
Has run administrative skills programmes for community groups across Bangkok since 2018. Designs the checklists and folder templates used in the document workshop.
Andrew Weston
Employer Programme Coordinator
British-born, Bangkok-based HR trainer who works with multinational teams on communicating benefit structures clearly. Leads the B2B employer programme and its presentation materials.
How We Keep Sessions Reliable and Appropriate
Because our workshops deal with a topic that carries real consequences for people, we hold ourselves to clear content and conduct standards.
Informational Scope Only
Every session is reviewed before delivery to confirm it stays within an educational scope. No individual advice is offered, no outcomes are projected, and no regulated activity is involved.
Source Transparency
All factual claims in our materials reference publicly available official sources — government publications, Social Security Office guidance, or equivalent bodies. We don't make claims we can't trace to a source.
Annual Content Review
Retirement structures change. We review all workshop materials at least once a year — and promptly when significant policy or legislative changes are published — to ensure what we present reflects current public information.
Participant Privacy
Workshop registration data is held securely and used only for session logistics and follow-up. We do not share participant details with third parties and hold data only as long as necessary.
Feedback-Led Improvement
Every session closes with a short feedback form. We read every response and use it to refine how topics are explained. Sessions that consistently draw unclear questions prompt a content update.
Accessible Language Standard
All written materials are drafted to a readable level for someone without a background in finance or law. We test content against a plain-language checklist before it is printed or distributed.
What We Believe About Retirement Information
Retirement planning involves decisions that will shape how people live for decades. The conversation around those decisions deserves to be grounded in accurate, accessible information — not in products, pressure, or promises.
Nestguard's workshops exist because we believe the educational foundation matters as much as anything that comes after it. Understanding how Thailand's Social Security structure works, what documents an employer is required to provide, and how to find official guidance independently — these are things anyone approaching retirement in Thailand should be able to access in plain terms.
We work with individuals who want to understand the system before they make any decisions, with HR professionals who want to communicate clearly to their teams, and with anyone who has arrived in Thailand from elsewhere and needs to build that foundational understanding from scratch.
Our sessions are run in a calm, chapter-by-chapter format. We don't rush. We don't push. We present information, answer questions about that information, and send participants home with reference materials they can consult at their own pace.
The values that guide how we work are straightforward: source everything we say, stay within an educational scope, make the language accessible, and be honest about what falls outside what we do.
